Strawberry Yogurt Bites
Strawberry Yogurt Bites are a healthy snack that's bursting with flavor. With melted chocolate, Greek yogurt, and fresh strawberries, this sweet treat is a perfect for just about any time!
Equipment
- Measuring Spoons
- Measuring Cups
- Mixing Bowl Set
- Silicone Mini Muffin Pan
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk chocolate melting wafers OR chocolate chips (I used Ghirardelli milk chocolate melting wafers)
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey to sweeten, (if desired)
- 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
Instructions
- Line a 24-count mini muffin pan with paper liners or use a silicone muffin pan.
- In a medium microwave-safe bowl, and chocolate and melt over medium heat, stirring every 30 seconds so it doesn’t burn.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of melted chocolate into the bottom of each muffin mold. Place in the refrigerator or freezer for about 5-10 minutes to harden slightly (it doesn’t need to harden all the way).
- While chocolate is chilling, add yogurt to a medium bowl. Stir in honey (if using) until well combined. Fold in chopped strawberries.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of yogurt mixture on top of each chocolate cup. Freeze for 2-3 hours, or until frozen. When ready to serve, remove yogurt bites from molds and let thaw for several minutes, if desired.
Notes
- I like using this silicone mini muffin pan for easy removal, as the bites will pop right out.
- Yogurt bites will keep in a freezer-safe container or bag in the freezer for up to three months.
